Nevin
A 19-year-old girl who doesn't like the world.
At 18, she moved from a village of 50 inhabitants, to Amsterdam. The more she learned about the world; wars, feminism, social inequality, the smaller she felt. She wanted to change everything, but couldn't.
She forms an image in her head of the kind of work she wants to create and then brings it to life. She wants to make the world and its problems tangible through imagery. One person can’t save the world alone, which is why she believes it is important to inspire others.
She views the world as a place filled with change, chaos, and social issues. That is precisely why she believes creativity can help people see the world from a different perspective. Through imagery, design, and art direction, Nevin aims to translate ideas and subjects into work that moves, inspires, or provokes thought.
At the same time, she has a deep love for fashion, irony, and the way a powerful campaign can tell a complete story without spelling everything out literally. She therefore wants to explore how she can combine social issues with her interest in fashion and art direction.
